Join me for a transformative Vegan Cooking Class where we explore the healing power of plant-based cuisine. As a certified raw vegan chef from the Living Food Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I’ve dedicated my life to creating delicious, health-boosting meals that nourish the body and soul.

 

My Journey

My passion for plant-based cuisine was born out of necessity and love. When my daughter, Talia, was diagnosed with a severe autoimmune kidney disease called FSGS, doctors told us it was irreversible. Determined to find a way to improve her health, I went back to school to study plant-based diets and juicing. Over the course of a year, through the power of a carefully crafted vegan diet, we increased Talia’s kidney function from a mere 5% to an astonishing 29%. While the disease eventually required a double kidney transplant, our journey proved the remarkable potential of plant-based nutrition.

 

My Experience

Before diving into the world of vegan cooking, I was the head chef at JUICEATERIA, a vegan restaurant in Boca Raton that my family owned for five years. We were pioneers in the plant-based food scene, offering revolutionary dishes like vegan gelato, pizza, and a variety of unique foods that were cutting-edge for 2011. My experience there, combined with my formal training, has equipped me to teach others how to create meals that are not only delicious but also packed with life-giving nutrients.
